Glass emphasizes the human cognition with its usage and materiality. In this work, I was inspired by my childhood memory that I blow bubbles in the glass of juice: its visual, taste, sensation and the reactions of my parents. I overlapped the sound that I blow bubble in the water to juxtapose the visual and the sounds. The power of breath also changes the shape of glass which people usually think impossible to change. I was enjoying mixing those sensations into a video, and creating a small chaos moment to viewer.

ガラスという素材とその使い方は、人の認知に強く作用する。
この作品では、幼い頃にジュースの入ったグラスに泡を吹いて遊んだ記憶から着想を得た。視覚、味覚、感覚、そして親の反応——それらの断片が、この映像の核となっている。

水に息を吹き込む音を重ねることで、視覚と聴覚の交差を試みた。
普段は「変わらない」と思われがちなガラスも、息の力によってかたちを変えることができる。その“ありえない変化”を、あえてガラスという素材で描いた。

複数の感覚が交錯し、小さな混沌が生まれる——
その一瞬の違和感やずれが、見る人の中に記憶や感覚を呼び起こすことを願っている。
